Bekah earned her Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology from Georgia College & State University. She began her career in the legal field as a legal assistant specializing in pre-litigation personal injury, gaining valuable experience managing complex cases and supporting clients through their legal processes. After earning her Juris Doctor from Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School, Bekah joined the Henry County Public Defender’s Office, where she exclusively handled felony cases such as theft, drug possession, domestic violence, child molestation, armed robbery, and murder. She also served as the Pre-Trial Diversion Coordinator, helping clients complete the program and achieve administrative dismissal of their cases.
During law school, Bekah interned at one of metro Atlanta’s top private criminal defense firms, assisting with misdemeanor and felony jury trials involving charges ranging from DUI to child molestation and murder. This experience solidified her passion for criminal defense. Although she briefly returned to personal injury law, her time negotiating settlements added invaluable skills that she now applies to securing favorable outcomes for her criminal defense clients.
Bekah later returned to her passion for criminal defense, joining the Clayton County Public Defender’s Office, where her dedication to representing indigent clients flourished. She is committed to aggressively advocating for her clients and ensuring their voices are heard.
Outside of work, Bekah enjoys live music, going to the gym, and spending time with her family and her dog, Novo.
